Delivery Policy

We at Classic Quilts are committed to making our delivery process as quick and pleasant as possible because we know how important it is that your goods arrive on time and in perfect condition. Please note our Delivery Policy of all our online orders:

For Orders Within UAE:

For all orders placed before 2PM, we will ship out within the day, and the items will arrive to your doorstep the next day. 

• For orders place after 2PM, the shipping will happen in the day after and you will receive your goods on the 3rd day from your order placement.
• We therefore request all our customers to give 2-3 working days as a general rule of thumb for you to receive your shopping from Classic Quilts
• If you live in remote areas in the UAE, the shipping might take up to 7-10 working days. Shipping rates MIGHT change for larger shipments to remote areas. We will communicate with you if you are shopping from a remote location in the UAE

Note the following cases, where there might be delays in you receiving your shipment

• You do not answer the call the courier calls at the time of delivery- couriers do not want to deliver items to the wrong address and in the scenario, they will re-deliver only when you answer your call. Please ensure you keep an eye on the phone number you provide in your order so you do not miss out on delivery day
• Order changes- if some items are not available (we do work on keeping actual stock numbers but for items like off the meter fabrics/batting, there could be changes). While communicating these changes, we might incur a 1-2 day delay in your order shipment

we request clients to be patient with order delivery delays. They occur very rarely, and we always try our best to give you the fastest door-to-door service. 

Delivery Rates Within the UAE

1. For all CASH on DELIVERY orders, we charge a fee of AED 30 per order shipment. For orders over AED 525 (Incl VAT), we offer free shipping! This is applicable for everything except Sewing Machines.                                                                                                               Please note we do not accept cash payments for orders over 500AED- in case you want to pay everything in cash, and the value is >AED 500, you have to split your orders as multipe orders and we will treat them as separate.
2. For all CREDIT/DEBIT card payments, we charge a fee of AED 25 per order shipment. For orders over AED 525 (Incl VAT), we offer free shipping! This is applicable for everything except sewing machines
3. BERNINA and bernette sewing machines (only) are applicable for free shipping, provided the sewing machine isn’t on a sale. All  other sewing machine brands (brother, janome) have a flat rate of AED 50 for shipping, please note. 
4. Ruwais customers- We ship to Ruwais post office. Extra charges might apply on item collection if you do not have a post box account (it usually is AED 30 extra and will be charged by the Post Office to you). Kindly contact us for details here
5. Remote area clients- Delivery policies are different. Kindly contact us before you place your order to clarify on delivery feasibility.

Outside the UAE: Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain

We have flat rates worked out for Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain at the moment, which immediately calculates on checkout, without having to call in the store

1. Flat rate shipping of AED 150 per shipment for any shipment value for Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. The items will be delivered through road transport, to your doorstep
2. For orders of notions and fabrics ONLY, we will offer free shipping to aforementioned countries, if your order value is greater than or equal to AED 1500.
3. Please Note- Sewing Machines will always be on quote, which means after you add to cart and complete your order, we will provide the shipping rate for your machine as a separate billing (as we will have to obtain quote for your selected sewing machine)
4. Lead time for Delivery- 5-10 working days average.
5. Please note – UAE 5% tax will calculate on shipping as we are opting for Road Transport. Courier services will exempt you from this tax, but  we will opt to charge shipping different based on order value and parcel dimensions and export documentation cost. 

Rest of the World:

At checkout, shipping will state TO BE QUOTED. we will obtain our best shipping rate to you, for a door-to-door delivery and insured, so that you can safely acquire your products. Confirmation and payment of shipping rate will be required before we ship out your order!
